 You helped us select it, and now it’s your chance to take an even bigger role in X Fest 2010.
Project X Theatre Productions is holding auditions for X Fest 2010, the Interior of BC’s only outdoor summer Shakespeare festival! Will you be a part of it? We are looking for actors of various ages for this year’s productions: Shakespeare’s 12th Night, or What You Will and the camp-cult classic musical, chosen by popular vote, The Rocky Horror Show by Richard O’Brien. The plays will run in repertory for 3 weeks this summer. Actors will be hired for a 9-week period, 48 hours per week, with rehearsals beginning June 14, 2010. X Fest runs from July 21 to August 14, 2010 in Prince Charles Park, downtown Kamloops. Auditions will take place Sunday March 28 starting at 1pm, Monday March 29 beginning at 5:30pm & Tuesday March 30 starting at 7pm at the classroom of the Pavilion Theatre, 1025 Lorne Street. Actors are asked to memorize and prepare ONE monologue from 12th Night and ONE song from Rocky Horror. The sides are posted on our website, www.projectxtheatre.ca.
