AMERICA’S TRAVEL WEEKLY READERS CHOOSE ROCKY MOUNTAINEER AS ‘BEST RAIL VACATION’

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (January 14, 2010) – Rocky Mountaineer, Canada’s acclaimed rail experience, has recently been recognized as ‘Best Rail Vacation’ in the seventh annual Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards. Known as the leading US publication for the travel industry, Travel Weekly presents the Readers’ Choice awards to industry members who have achieved excellence in product and service during the year. Rocky Mountaineer representatives accepted the award at this year’s seventh annual Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards gala event at the Plaza Hotel in New York last month along with other travel and tourism members.

The Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards are awarded to travel industry professionals who have exhibited excellence during the year in 58 categories from airline, car, hospitality, rail, tour, cruise, destination and theme park organizations. The winners will be published in the January 2010 edition of Travel Weekly as well as at www.travelweekly.com.
