Known as the leading US publication for the travel industry, Travel Weekly presents the Readers’ Choice awards to industry members who have achieved excellence in product and service during the year. Rocky Mountaineer representatives accepted the award at this year’s seventh annual Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards gala event at the Plaza Hotel in New York last month along with other travel and tourism members. “We are honoured to be recognized by readers of the biggest travel trade publication in the United States,” says Bob Nicholas, Vice President, Sales of Rocky Mountaineer. “This acknowledgment is a great way to start our 2010 season as we celebrate our 20th anniversary and unveil our new branding to the world.” The Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards are awarded to travel industry professionals who have exhibited excellence during the year in 58 categories from airline, car, hospitality, rail, tour, cruise, destination and theme park organizations. The winners will be published in the January 2010 edition of Travel Weekly as well as at www.travelweekly.com.
