Mike Puhallo of Kamloops BC, will receive the Will Rogers Award for Cowboy Poet of the Year, at the 14th Annual, Academy of Western Artists "Will Rogers Awards" September 22, 2009 at 7:30pm Granville Theatre, Garland, Texas. Mike Puhallo is the President of the BC Cowboy Heritage Society, a working cowboy, former rodeo cowboy and rancher wtih six books and three CD's of his cowboy poetry published.
