Julie Donnelly, originally from Vancouver, is the Talent Agent/Manager who relocated and set up offices in Kelowna several years ago. PTM has an extensive roster with a strong focus on film and television actors both union and non-union from several regions of British Columbia and Alberta “Actors on our roster have appeared in numerous productions in the Kamloops region including “The Andromeda Strain” TV mini-series, “Flicka 2”, and CBC drama “Iron Road”. Other shows we’ve booked are “Santa Buddies”, “Battlestar Galactica”, “Psyche” (Kelowna), “Smallville”, “Dead Zone”, “Cold Squad”, “You, Me and the Kids”, “The X Files”, “Millennium”, “The Sentinel”, to name a few plus many Canadian and U.S. national commercials such as “Hummer” (Ashcroft), “Coca-Cola”, “Hasbro”, “Fisher Price”, “American Cancer Society”, “Discovery Channel”, “BC Tourism” (Kamloops), “Dairy Queen”, “McDonalds” and many more!”.

Vicci Weller, Executive Director of Film, Thompson-Nicola Film Commission: “We receive many calls from persons wanting to be extras but the film commission does not have the resources to manage this sector of the film industry. We encourage people to monitor our web site and radio and newspaper casting announcements but many people miss them. Being in an agency is a great way to keep informed. It’s also provides opportunities for those wishing to work outside their immediate home town.” “We anticipate requiring military types (fit, early 20’s to mid 40’s) and ethnic people for a production that may be coming to Kamloops” says Donnelly. According to Vicci Weller “We’re locking locations and waiting for director approval before we can announce this project. However, we’ve successfully locked locations for “Rain Down” a Canadian feature film which will film in September in the Kamloops area, Ashcroft, Cache Creek and Spences Bridge. They will film in the region for approximately 21 days.”
