The course easily blends itself with the strong features of the land, providing a memorable golf experience for golfers of a levels. An 18-acre driving range academy completes the experience. The course, which blends rich native history with native art, is located at the Quaaout Lodge, which is the proud development of the Little Shuswap First Nations Band.
Now closed for the 2011 season.
Talking Rock Course Architect - Wayne Carleton
Wayne Carleton, a designer and partner for Cooke, Carleton International, used his expertise in designing Talking Rock in Kamloops, British Columbia. Cooke, Carleton International has designed over 100 courses across the globe, including The Dunes in Kamloops, BC. Industry awards for the firm include Golf Digest's "Best New Canadian Course" in 2005, 2003 and 2001. Two Kamloops courses, The Dunes and Sun Rivers, which were also designed by Cooke Carleton, were runners-up for "Best New Canadian Course".
