According to Tibetan monks, an area outside Kamloops at the Vidette Lake Gold Mine Resort is claimed to be The Centre of the Universe. The site is said to emit power from at least three spots within a seven metre diameter and is also considered special by the local First Nations.

> Sitavana - Birken Forest Monastery

Sitavana, is situated on 80 acres in the middle of a vast forested area, approximately 40km south of Kamloops. Visits to the monastery are permitted, where you may practice the rules of virtue, meditate and develop wisdom. Visit Birken's website.
