Geocaching (pronounced geo-cashing) is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache's existence and location online. Anyone with a GPS device can then try to locate the geocache.
Things you need to get started!
The only necessities are a GPS device or GPS-enabled mobile phone so you can navigate to the cache or "treasure" and a geocaching application or map loaded into your device.
Know the rules:
1. If you take something from the geocache, leave something of equal or greater value,
2. Write about your find in the cache logbook,
3. Cover it back up the way you found it for the next treasure hunters!
